ANAMAI, the project of Anna Mayberry, who also fronts Toronto garage punk band HSY, released a video for “Altar Coals,” set in a snowy scene in New York City. The track, which comes from ANAMAI’s 2013 self-titled EP, is a slice of dreamy folk that might appeal to fans of Grouper or Marissa Nadler. ANAMAI is opening for Waxahatchee at the Great Hall on November 4.
