1. Writers:
Interested writers, message one of the editors for a application form. Completed applications are due by Friday, Oct. 3rd, 2008.Sections in the magazine includes Hart House / On Campus News, Features, Student / Alum Spotlight, and Reviews (films, books, albums, live shows).

Selected writers will be contacted and article assignments will be given the week of October 13, 2008.***Note: Writers may also submit previously unpublished articles for consideration to be included in the issue. Writers may also submit pitches for potential article assignments.***

2. Photographers, Artists:
Demo also accepts original photography and artwork related to music. Please submit to demo.harthouse@gmail.com.We are also looking for regular photographers to join the team. If interested, please send three sample photographs to demo.harthouse@gmail.com.

3. Getting More Involved:
If you would like to get more involved with Demo, we are looking for Section Editors, an Assistant Layout Editors, Communications Managers, and Web Designer.

Section Editors
– Work with rest of editorial team to conceptualize ideas for article assignments within section — Edit articles within section
– Communication with writers

Assistant Layout Editor
– Help Managing Editor with creative layout design for all pages of magazine
– Must have knowledge of In-Design

Communications Manager
– Responsible for magazine outreach into local community
– including distribution of magazine- Organizing fundraising initiatives
– develop system for advertisements within magazine

Web Designer
– Initiate a new web design for the magazine
– Help maintain the Demo blog
