We often think of disco in terms of the sunny dance music of the 70s, like “Good Times” or “Stayin’ Alive”, but some groups have taken the sound of disco to darker places. The songs in this mix are disco-like in some form or another, but they evoke less cheery emotions than those that might come to mind when you think of the genre.
