As every music publication is rushing to compile their best albums of 2014, some clear favourites have emerged – St. Vincent, The War on Drugs, and Run the Jewels, for example. At the same time, some of the best music this year flew under the radar. These albums might not have gained as much hype when they came out, and they might not be in too many “best of” lists, but they deserve your attention too.
